1. Controller

Marentis GmbH, Rheinsberger Str. 77A, 10115 Berlin, Germany, Email: [email protected]

2. Processing of personal data when you contact us

We collect personal data when you voluntarily provide it to us in the course of contacting us, for example via our contact form, by email, or by booking a call through our scheduling page. This may include the following data: name, email address, company, message content, selected appointment time, and any other information you choose to provide voluntarily. When you book a call, this information is handled by Google Calendar and used to confirm your appointment and generate a Google Meet link for the call. In addition, when you visit our website, we automatically collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, referrer URL, and the date and time of access, insofar as this is technically necessary for the operation of the website.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to pre-contractual or business communication, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries and managing communication with interested parties.

3. Hosting, security, and technical delivery

This website is built with Webflow and uses Cloudflare for website delivery, security, caching, and performance-related services. In the course of providing the website, technical data such as IP address, browser information, device information, and access logs may be processed to ensure stability, security, and reliable delivery of the website. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand overall use of our website and improve its performance. This analytics service does not use client-side state such as cookies or local storage and does not fingerprint individuals for analytics purposes.
‍
The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in the secure and efficient operation of our website and understanding and improving our website, provided the service is configured in a privacy-preserving manner.

4. Recipients of Data and Transfers to Third Parties

As a rule, we do not transfer your personal data to third parties unless we are legally required to do so or you have expressly consented to such transfer. To operate our website and services, we use external service providers acting on our behalf (data processors), in particular Webflow for website hosting and form processing, Cloudflare for website delivery, security, caching, and analytics, and Google LLC for appointment scheduling (Google Calendar) and video calls (Google Meet). Where such service providers process personal data on our behalf, they are contractually bound to process such data only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the requirements of the GDPR. Please note that Google LLC is based in the United States. When you book a call through our website, your appointment data is transferred to Google's servers in the US. This transfer is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, which means your data remains protected to EU standards. If you join a Google Meet call, Google will also process the data associated with that call (such as video, audio, and participant details) in accordance with Google's own privacy policy.

5. Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law. Contact requests will generally be deleted once the request has been fully processed and no legal retention obligations or legitimate interests require further storage.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten", Art. 17 GDPR)
